Our Lady of Hope Clinic to Host Series of Free Educational Events
Location: Our Lady of Hope Clinic, 6425 Odana Road

Our Lady of Hope Clinic will host a slate of free educational events, aimed at empowering community members to better maintain and improve their health. The Health Outreach and Patient Education (HOPE) series begins this fall with three scheduled events and is open to the general public.

Our Lady of Hope Clinic President Michael Kloess said the events will provide attendees with useful information for getting and staying healthy.

“Sometimes the best form of preventative medicine is education,” Kloess said. “The HOPE series gives men, women and children from across the Madison area an opportunity to learn practical, but powerful, tips for improving their health.”

  • Women’s Health: NaProTECHNOLOGY, September 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Millions of women across the US suffer from gynecological concerns like infertility, ovarian cysts, post-partum depression, PMS and menstrual cramps. Typically, these women are given expensive treatments that mask problems without addressing the underlying health concerns. NaProTECHNOLOGY is a revolutionary new branch of medicine that provides natural, effective and inexpensive treatments that are found morally acceptable by people of all faiths. Join Doctors Kloess and Johnson to learn more.
  • Common Winter Sports Injuries, October 27 at 6:30 p.m.
Each year, more than a quarter million Americans get hurt participating in winter sports. Before you lace up those skates, put on those sneakers, or purchase your lift ticket, join us for a primer on avoiding and caring for winter sports injuries.
  • Hypertension Screening, November 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Nearly 90 percent of Americans will develop high blood pressure at some point during their lives. Join Doctors Kloess and Johnson for a free screening and advice on how to get (or keep) your blood pressure under control.

All events will be held at Our Lady of Hope Clinic (6425 Odana Road). For additional information call Steve Karlen at 608-445-2063.
