Women's Health and NFP Español
At Our Lady of Hope Clinic, we take a special interest in women’s health issues. That’s why we are proud to offer natural family planning medical consultations for all forms of Natural Family Planning.
Both physicians are also trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY. NaProTECHNOLOGY is a new women’s health science that monitors and maintains a woman’s reproductive and gynecological health. It is used to diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of gynecological concerns including premenstrual syndrome, polycystic ovarian disease, menstrual cramps, irregular or abnormal bleeding, chronic discharges, ovarian cysts, infertility, repetitive miscarriages, postpartum depression, hormone abnormalities, and other gynecological health problems. This cutting edge approach to women’s health has proven to be remarkably effective in treating women’s health issues affordably and ethically.
Our benefactors receive unlimited NFP and NaPro consultations. In addition, we are pleased to offer these services to individuals and families who choose not to become benefactors. These services to non-benefactors are offered on a fee-for-service basis.
Natural Family Planning Medical Consulting and NaProTECHNOLOGY Services
- First Visit: $75
Includes gathering information about health issue, reviewing woman's NFP chart, taking past health history, performing a physical exam if necessary (often times not and rarely on the first visit), ordering any appropriate labs or imaging, prescribing medications and establishing a management plan. - Simple Follow Up Visit: $40
Includes updating health information and health history, reviewing interval NFP charts, discussing any lab results and establishing a management plan. (Patient must have previously had a first visit for NFP consulting.) - Complex Follow Up Visit: $55
Includes updating health information and health history, reviewing interval NFP charts, discussing any lab results, performing a physical exam if necessary, ordering any appropriate labs or imaging, prescrbing medications and establishing a management plan. (Patient must have previously had a first visit for NFP consulting.) - Procedure Visit: $75
Includes updating health informationn and health history, reviewing interval NFP charts, performing any procedures (including but not limited to cervical hyfrecation and colposcopy) and establishing a management plan. (Patient must have previously had a first visit for NFP consulting.) - 1st Trimester Pregnancy Surveillance for hormone replacement: $150
Includes a first visit (see above) as well as management of progesterone levels during the first trimester of pregnancy. Women on progesterone during pregnancy will generally have a progesterone level checked every other week. This will be reviewed and recommendations for changes to progesterone supplementation will be made. Progesterone lab draws are not included and will be done at a separate facility. Pregnancy surveillance includes prescribing necessary progesterone for women who are not yet being seen by their delivery physician. OLHC physicians do not do OB or deliveries. Patient must establish care with a separate delivery physician. - 2nd Trimester Pregnancy Surveillance for hormone replacement: $50
For patients requiring hormone management extending into the second trimester. - Injections: $5
For patients who receive progesterone or HCG by injection and who wishes to receive this injection at OLHC, the cost will be $5 per injection. The injection fee covers the cost needles, syringes and staff. It does not cover the cost of medications. The patient will bring her prescribed medications in with her (in the originally labeled bottles) for use of injection.
NFP consulting assumes the patient is being seen for follow up each cycle. For questions and concerns between regular visits the provider is available by phone and email. If the patient is not being seen for regular visit and care is being managed by phone or email, simple follow up visit fee will apply per month or per cycle for phone or email.
